Trip Introduction
The Manaslu Circuit Trek is a perfectly formulated tea house trek which offers the chance to do a roundabout journey of the Manaslu Summit and explores the surrounding villages in all their glory. A great alternative to the Annapurna Circuit Trek, this less trodden trail offers the magnificent views of the snow-capped mastiff of Manaslu (8163m), the eight tallest one in the world.
The carefully formulated itinerary of Asian Alpine Treks and Expedition, and the highly experienced guides and porters, make sure that you carry out this incredible journey with proper acclimatization, the major attraction of the trek, apart from the mind-boggling views of Manal, is the Larkya La Pass, believed to be the most dramatic passes in the Himalayas.
The trail starts off with Arughat and traverses through villages like Soti Khola, Maccha Khola, Jagat, Deng, Namrung, Shayla, Samagaon, Samdo, Larkey Phedi and finally the beautiful Larkye La Pass. The trek comes to an end in Besisahar. This trek requires proper fitness level and previous trekking experience due to its difficult nature. However, the rich local heritage, biological diversity, flora and fauna couple with the views of the perfect peaks like Simrang, Hiunchuli, Ngadi, Larkey Peak, Cheo, Kang Guru and finally the Manaslu, makes this incredible opportunity something to be remembered for a lifetime.
