Trip Introduction
We do mount kailash tour from Kerung overland and fly back from Lhasa,Mount Kailash, located west of Tibet and with a elevation of 6,656m, is one of the world’s most scared mountains, regarded as the ultimate spiritual destination of Bön, Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism. The road to Kailash is well paved, every year, a large number of pilgrims come from all parts of the world to pray the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. You can spend 13-15 days to complete a tour starting from Lhasa-Everest-Kalaish trek, then return to Lhasa or overland to Kathmandu. The 52KM trek around Kailash takes 2-3 days to complete for common visitors. And best time to come will be April, May, September and October with mild temperature and less rain or snow. Both Tibet Travel Permit and Alien Travel Permit are required for Kailash tour.
